I’m still into the idea of painting a little corner to define my “office” space… but I haven’t done a thing about it.

Remember a month ago when I was so cocky about all the redecorating I was going to do? I totally thought I would have some of that done by now. Nope!

Instead I’ve been “editing”, as they say on those W Network design shows. I am down: one life partner, two boxes of books, many bags of clothing, a recycling bin full of loose paper, more bags full of craft supplies for things I will never make. I filed my bills in the file cabinet (I even paid some of them!)

But I have not repainted or redecorated a damn thing. No biggie. This is just a chance to refine my design style, right?

After years of thinking about it, I’m probably going to do a deep turquoise in my bedroom. I like that the colour looks good with brights, golds, and neutrals, even in relatively low lighting.

So into the cross-stitch print on these… I’d love to do something similar with knitted textures for hooks/doorknobs.
